Stay with God for He loves you!
Stay with God for He loves you!
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
(Isaiah 55:6)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
(1 Corinthians 12:12)

ENCOURAGEMENT
"But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." (Hebrews 3:13) We are told to encourage one another daily. "And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet." (Acts 4:36-37) This man of God loved to bless and encourage others.
Encouragement is emphasized in the Bible primarily because encouragement is necessary to our walk of faith. Jesus lets us know in John 16:36 that we will have troubles but take heart because He has overcome the world. "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4)
Encouragement gives us the will to go on. We have to remember that our struggles are not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. So, we need to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ and not criticize them.
When we are encouraged, it gives us the strength to put on the whole armor of God. The whole armor helps us to remain steadfast and unmovable and know we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:"(Ephesians 6: 13-17)
Encouragement helps us know that when the battle is over, we will still be able to stand. Encouragement will help us to experience abundant life, make it easier to love as Jesus loves, gives hope, makes it easier to live a kingdom life and easier for us to sacrifice our own desires for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
