Stay with God for He loves you!
Stay with God for He loves you!
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
(Isaiah 55:6)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
(1 Corinthians 12:12)

SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
The Joy of the Lord is My Strength
“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love: even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and your joy might be full.” (John 15:10-11) Jesus is teaching a lesson in obedience and love for Him. When the presence of the word of the Lord is continually manifested in our lives, the joy of the Lord is full and complete in us. Jesus’ joy enables us to enjoy all the things that He has for us.
Spiritual joy is a state of having great pleasure, confidence, prosperity, and positive outlooks even in the midst of sorrow and despair. David in Psalm 16 describes the joy of total security that the faithful care of the Lord provides. “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalm 16:11)
Everlasting joy comes to those who are faithful to God’s word. “Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shall thou be, and it shall be well with thee.” (Psalm 128:1-2) It pleases the Lord when we consistently obey His word.
“Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” (Psalm 60:12) The battles of life are not ours but belong to the Lord. No matter how bad it looks with our confidence in the Lord, every battle will be won and we will be more than conquerors.
Whatever is trying to overwhelm you, Jesus can overwhelm it in you. In the word “joy”, the J stands for Jesus, the Ostands for overwhelm and the Y stands for you. Jesus overwhelms you!
“Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.” (Psalm 81:1) Jesus Christ came into this world to bring us unspeakable joy by defeating sin and death so we could be reconciled back to God. He gave all of Himself to give us so much! Trouble is everywhere but Jesus’ joy can dismiss it.
